Tis I, Rossetti, commanderin the blog to invite all sailin' kiatonz ta join Cap'n Jack on hiz bonnie ship, da Black Furrball, n sail da high seaz in honor o Meow Like a Pirate Day!!!! Kirara already joined hiz crew... I'm on my wayz der now fur grog and pirate booty, meself, savvy? I'z just stopped to pass da word on all da festivitiez planned. Da Meowerz iz also shovin off on adventure az well.

Az I makez me escape, here be a photo of our Momma frum back in May when her wuz a pirate at da Renaissance Faire!! Ain't she a Bonnie lass?  and dangerous az any kiaton pirate on da seven seaz!!! May there be a fair wind in yer sailz this day, meraarrrr!!!

Good Bye Dear Pixie

We have just learned that Pixie has traveled to the Bridge this weekend, and as with most of the blogosphere, we are deeply saddened. It seems that we were still just getting to know Daisy's feisty older sister, and we wish we had longer. Momma was very leaky eyed this morning when we all read the news (she loved seeing Pixie sneak onto Miss Daisy's blog). She even corrects other beans when they call bananers "bananas," boy does she get some strange looks. She's definitely made quite an impression on our Momma. Needless to say, we'll all miss Pixie a lot, but we are glad she's not hurting anymore. 

Rossetti and I are very proud of Pixie for being such a great big sister! She even made sure Daisy understood why she had to leave... What a hard task for any kiaton... 

We want to send all our purrs and huggles to Daisy and her Mommy and Daddy because we know how sad they all are right now. We know it hurts very much to love someone (bean, kiaton, etc) enough to let them go...

For Our Sprout

Today, we all gather to bid farwell for now to our beloved Sprout. Rossetti and I still don't have the words to express our sorrow for the loss of little Violette Noelle. Nevertheless, we decided to do our best today to let her know how special she was. We turned our blog violet for the weekend and both of us and our Momma too wore purple today. Momma helped us make this grapic for Violette and her family.

We also lit a candle online for Violette, and added the candle graphic below that we borrowed from KC. We thought it would be purrfect.

We want to send purrs and head butts to our new friend, Monty Q, and all of Violette's family. May you all find peace and may the aches in your hearts diminish so that you may all carry on...

I have taken ovr owr bloggy to entroduse owr nuw freend, Hippie Kittie!!!!

She iz the offis kittah at my Momma'z dae huntin plaze. (She iz actually Hippie Kittie the 2nd, cuz owr Momma's imployer had a Hippie Kittie the 1st but her went to the Bridge at the beginnin of diz yeer. Dey wanted to honor Hippie Kittie I by namin da new kittah after her older brofther. Plus thee coulda been twins!!)  Her iz jus a little kitten rite now, but will grow up to be an emportant part of Momma'z huntin place. Momma tellz uz that Hippie already makez sure all the thingz in Momma's "In" box are weighted down and takez care of penz and stuff az well. Kirara and I are verry purrowd of little Hippie!!!!  She even has mooviez on da utoobes.com web site cuz my Momma and her co-dae hunter have taken sum time owt of der busee dae to chronical Hippie's life!!! just go to da utoobes site and search fur "Chronicles of Hippy Kitty" she'z sooper kyoot!!!!!!
