Greetings Every Kiaton!!!!

We have finally made it back to the blogosphere!!!! well, to posting anyways....

We've been stopping by many bloggies to visitate, but haven't been able to leave many comments or post ourselves. Momma has been very, very busy!!! but hopefully, she will not be too busy now to help us blog. She got a new nite hunting job so she gets home a little earlier, but has had many projects to work on that haven't included blogging! (We did insist on watching the Breeder's Cup Horse Races with her last weekend so we could watch for any of Snap's cousins that might have been on da TV!!!) We're putting the big guilt trip on Momma so bare with us, and we'll try to be around more! We Miss Ya'll!!!!!

We've also got a new member to The Kiaton Empire... our very our squillion, Cosette!!!! Isn't she a very pretty Meezer? We hope she loves living with us!!!!

Good Bye Dear Pixie

We have just learned that Pixie has traveled to the Bridge this weekend, and as with most of the blogosphere, we are deeply saddened. It seems that we were still just getting to know Daisy's feisty older sister, and we wish we had longer. Momma was very leaky eyed this morning when we all read the news (she loved seeing Pixie sneak onto Miss Daisy's blog). She even corrects other beans when they call bananers "bananas," boy does she get some strange looks. She's definitely made quite an impression on our Momma. Needless to say, we'll all miss Pixie a lot, but we are glad she's not hurting anymore.

Rossetti and I are very proud of Pixie for being such a great big sister! She even made sure Daisy understood why she had to leave... What a hard task for any kiaton...

We want to send all our purrs and huggles to Daisy and her Mommy and Daddy because we know how sad they all are right now. We know it hurts very much to love someone (bean, kiaton, etc) enough to let them go...

Today, we all gather to bid farwell for now to our beloved Sprout. Rossetti and I still don't have the words to express our sorrow for the loss of little Violette Noelle. Nevertheless, we decided to do our best today to let her know how special she was. We turned our blog violet for the weekend and both of us and our Momma too wore purple today. Momma helped us make this grapic for Violette and her family.

We also lit a candle online for Violette, and added the candle graphic below that we borrowed from KC. We thought it would be purrfect.

We want to send purrs and head butts to our new friend, Monty Q, and all of Violette's family. May you all find peace and may the aches in your hearts diminish so that you may all carry on...

Today we made Momma let us post even though she's been really busy because we wanted to honor one of the bravest kiatons on the internets!, Storm, the Furry Fighter. She is being helped to the Bridge today, and we will miss her greatly. She has fought and beat the cancers once AND totally outlasted all predictions when it came back. We are very proud of her and her Meowmies and Castle for making the hard choice of letting Storm go on to the next stage of her life at the Bridge. What an inspiration and testament to other kiatons who have had to fight for their lives against the cancers. THANK YOU!!!! We have purred for you for quite some time now, and have been honored to witness your determination and grace while fighting as hard as you did. Rest now and be at peace until we meet again, beautiful Meezer Lady!!!!

Beans Fashion Friday

We promised to let our beans model some of their Faire Fashions they wear when they go to Scarborough Renaissance Faire on the weekends. We think they all did a good job!

We got Momma to help us find some photos of Auntie Kimme, Uncle Bryan, and her at the faire!!! We thought it would be a good introduction to our beans so that if our cousins run into them at the Renaissance Faire this weekend, you'll recognize our crew!!!! (We might try to sneak in with our cousins and Mike this weekend, if we have time of course!)

Here is a picture of my Momma in a princess dress!! She got it this year, and wore it for opening weekend while Auntie Kimmie was still recovering from her ouchies. This is the dress that the beaded hat that Rossetti tried to eat goes with. Momma's wearing it, but you can't see it very well in this photo.

This is our Auntie Kimmie and Uncle Bryan practicing fancy court dancing a few weeks ago. Our auntie's dress is the same style as Momma's new dress, its just a different color! Notice the fevvers on Uncle Bryan's hat. He went as a cavalier that day. He even got to carry a shiny, sharp sword that day!!!! (Momma was holding it for him when she took this picture cuz the dancers couldn't dance if they were wearing their swords. We asked Momma why and she said something about it all being fun and games til an eye was put out... Momma's really funny sometimes)

This was taken last Saturday!!! Momma's wearing her fancy lady dress that Auntie Kimmie and she made all by themselves! Auntie Kimmie is wearing a Spanish lady dress that she made, and Uncle Bryan is a cavalier... again.

We also dug out this picture of our Momma and auntie from last September when they went to the Texas Renaissance Faire. Auntie Kimmie is wearing her bestest lady dress and so is Momma. We wanted to include this so every kiaton could see our auntie's kyootest outfit. She will get to wear it this weekend so maybe our cousins will get a new photo of her wearing her gold gown.
We'll try to find more pictures of our beans all dressed up and maybe post them from time to time so ya'll can see more fashions from the Ren faires!!!

Wordy Wednesday: Our Momma is a Rennie!!!

Our Momma (and Auntie Kimmie as well) go to a place called the Scarborough Renaissance Faire every weekend during April and May. It is a place where all the beans go to dress up and purrtend that they are living in the past. The Bean King Henry VIII and his Bean Queen, Anne Boleyn, rule at the festival. Momma says its great fun. Normally, we'd be upset that she leaves us, but since Momma always dresses up in costumes, we always have cool stuff to play with.

Here are several photos of Rossetti playing with Momma's beaded hat...

He ended up trying to eat the beads so Momma took the hat away! Ha Ha!!

Since our Momma is addicted to going to these faires, and has more than one "Faire Costume," she is what faire goers would call a "Rennie." This means she will always try to travel to the next faire and buy all kinds of stuff from the vendors like costumes, fevvers, fur tails, ribbons, and also fevvers, leather, lacings, and did I mention fevvers? All us kiatons luv Faire season cuz it means our Momma and Auntie Kimmie leave out their costume stuff for us to find. Queen Snickers always steals her Momma's fox tail and runs all over the house with it. Since our Mommas like to wear fancy royal lady dresses (they have very full, fancy skirts on them) they have to have petticoats to hold the skirts up. PETTICOATS are really made for kiatons to play in!!!!! It is very fun to hide in the tulle fabric and pounce your unsuspecting brother when he comes to investigate.... or so I've heard...

Here is one of the ladies of the court from the Faire our Momma and Auntie went to last month. Its the one they found Renna at and rescued her from the gypsies!!

I will try to swipe a picture or two of Momma and Auntie Kimmie so every kiaton can see them in their Faire garb. Maybe we will let our beans have a Fashion Friday this week!!

I also think our cousins are planning to sneak into the Renaissance Faire this weekend while Mike is visitating them. We might tellyport over there, and attempt to go ourselves. Momma is always telling us they sell fish and chips and mac and cheese on a stick there... I wonder if they sell cheezburgers too?

Fashion Friday

Momma and I decided to make Rossetti model his new black hoodie our Auntie Kimmie bought him from Target, the French boutique! He's not as comfortable as Miss Daisy or Skeezy when it comes to wearing fashions, but he is trying.

There is a very scairty camo skull and crossbones on the back of it. Hehe, he could be a pirate and join Captain Jack's crew!!

Halfway through the shoot, he decided he wanted to play. This was when he started to be a model DIVA!!!!

He glared at Momma and me until we let him go play with his mousie. He claimed the hoodie restricted his movement, but I think he just wanted to be a spoiled sport!!!

Auntie Kimmie's still recovering at home, so that's why our Cousins (and us too) haven't been posting everyday. Momma has been talking on the tellyfone to Auntie a lot and they're both been too busy to type for us.

Hopefully, the Royal Kitties will get to post today because I hear Renna has a new kyoot fashion!!! We think our Momma and Auntie Kimmie will get to go to the Renaissance Faire this weekend. We shall try to make them take pictures and tell you all about it next week.

Auntie Kimmie is Home!!!!

Our Momma called Auntie Kimmie today to check up on her and found out she got to go home yesterday afternoon. She said that our cousins were taking very good care of her, even little Renna was snuggling close and making her feel better. Purr-aid is the BEST!!!!!

Auntie Kimmie is feeling much better than she expected to, but of course she still has some ouchies. Her Momma-Bean has been staying with her too, so hopefully our cousins have been able to take small Temptation breaks. Momma told us that Auntie Kimmie felt well enough this afternoon to venture outside for a little play time with Renna in the back yard. Mostly, she just watched Renna explore, but we're still proud of her.

Auntie Kimmie is hoping to feel well enough to help Snickers and Empress with their blogging very soon. Our cousins are being very patient and making sure their Momma is strong enough to help them. Yea Cousins!!!!!!! We all want to thank every kiaton and bean for purring and praying for our Auntie all this time! Ya'll are the greatest!!!!!

Auntie Kimmie Update Part 2

We just wanted to let every kiaton (and their beans too) know that Momma talked to Auntie Kimmie on the tellyphone this morning. Auntie Kimmie even called Momma by herself!!!! She said she was feeling very well and had already been walking around her floor to prove to the bean V.E.T. that she was well enough to go home and be released into the care of our cousins.

She thought she would get to come home today, but as of this posting, Momma wasn't sure if they let Auntie Kimmie out. Momma has been gone all day at the Renaissance Faire (at Auntie Kimmie's insistance of course), so she didn't get to type this until now. She will call our Auntie tomorrow to check up on her again because she didn't get home until she felt it was too late to call Auntie Kimmie. We're sure she's doing okays and that she's resting... just not certain as to where she's resting at right now.... MOL

We'll post more updates as soon as our silly Momma will type them for us!!!!

Thanks for all your continued thoughts and purrs. Momma told Auntie Kimmie about all the well wishes and purrs she was getting, and she got all leaky faced. We're sure she'll be back soon!!!

Auntie Kimmie Update

Our Momma just got off the phone with Uncle Bryan!!!!! He said Auntie Kimmie was still in recovery, but should be in her very own room by 3:30pm central!!!! Her ouchie wasn't as bad as the bean V.E.T. thought, and everything went well.

Little Renna, our new woofie cousin, went to the V.E.T. this morning before Auntie Kimmie had to go in for her surgery. She has been given a clean bill of health (though she may be carrying baby fleas and have to have another bath soon to kill them, hehe)

All our cousins tellyported over to our house, and we are playing together all day today since we were waiting to hear how Auntie Kimmie was doing. We cuddled on the loveseat for a long time, until we were going crazy just waiting and waiting. Queen Snickers and I made my brother try on one of his new shirts Momma got him. He was not amused... but we certainly were!!!!! Even little Renna giggled a little.

Thanks to every kiaton for their purrs today. Please keep purrin for Auntie Kimmie so she'll get better very quickly. Our cousins will tellyport home tonight to keep Uncle Bryan company, and get ready to nurse Auntie Kimmie back to health. We'll keep updating here until she's well enough to start blogging for our cousins again!!!

Okays, so wut haz happenez wuz.... owr Momma got verrie buzee and couldn't typez da bloggie for uz yesterdaze. Her feltz verrie bad thuw, so we gotz lotz of TEM TAA CHUNZ!!!!! We decided to make Momma leeve off Fashun Frydae so we could katch upz. (Also, wez furgeve her cuz her nice day huntin boss ladee lost her kiaton, da Hippie Kittah, yesterdaze mornin. We never gotz to talkz about him cuz he just found his furever home with Momma's boss ladee dis Chris mouse. We wuz all verrie sad cuz da little guy was verrie yung to travelz to da rainbow bridge but we thinkz he'll be okayz. We knowz owr freindz there will watch over hem. Momma sayz he wuz a wunderful kiaton and she will mizz him lotz, but she wuz glad that her boss got to luv him even fur a little whilez.) Fashion Friday: St. Patrick's Day Fun

We decided to try on our St. Patrick's Day party fashions today for Fashion Friday!!! Momma helped me pick out a lovely new emerald tiara and a festive fev-ver boa for the holiday. I believe the only accessory missing to complete the ensemble is a tall glass of mother's milk.

Rossetti got a sparkly leprechaun hat and a sequined bow tie. He didn't mind the hat too much, but wasn't very fond of his tie! I only giggled a little.

Of course, I agreed with him later when Momma took my tiara and had me wear brother's hat instead. I felt very sad, and I found out Momma helped Auntie Kimmie make my cousin, Queen Snickers wear a hat instead of jewels. I decided to let her borrow my tiara for the weekend so she could cheer up.

Thursday Thirteen

We wanted to tell you 13 things about us, The Kiaton Empire!!!!!

1. We is called "kiatons." This is Momma's made up word for cat, kitty, kittah, etc. (She's a little weird, but she was an art major after all)

2. The reason Momma made up a name to call us is that we lives in the country and if she called us, "Heeeeeerreee Kittty, Kittah!!!!!!" all the neighborhood kitties would show up and eat our stinky goodness. We likes our neighbors, but we LUVS our stinky goodness!

3. My favorite toys are crackle balls. I luvs to bat them across the floors!!!! Rossetti purrfers furry mices with lather tailses. He will jump anywhere to get them.

4. Rossetti feels he must eat the tails off his mices as soon as he gets a new one. He even removes the fevers from fever-butt mices. Brothers are silly!

5. Rossetti also learned a neat trick from Momma. He thinks he's part woofie so he will actually fetch his mices when Momma throws them, and then brings them back to her to throw again. Sometimes they play for like hours... well maybe 30 minutes. Is my brother weird?

6. We luvs to cuddle with each other. Most the time we can be found on the sofa or Grandmama's bed snuggling!!!!

7.My favorite hiding place is the dining room. This is where MY window is where I lay in the sunshines and watch the squrrils and birdies when we are trapped inside.

8. Rossetti luvs to hide in the garage/WoW computer room. Grandmama has a not real plant out there and he hides under it and plays jungle kiaton. I have to watch out or he'll pounce me.

9. We always get up and greet Momma when she comes in from day or night hunting. It doesn't matter if we're with Grandmama or not... Momma must be welcomed home. (Also, we hope one day we'll trick Momma into letting us outside in the dark time so we too can night hunt.... this hasn't worked yet)

10. Rossetti sometimes tries to eat Grandmama and Momma's books. I think he does this cuz Momma says "there's nothing like curlin up with a good book." I'm pretty sure Momma means to read them, but Rossetti's convinced that its cuz they taste so good.

11. Rossetti always tries to get into Momma's closet. This is because Momma used to dance when she was a little girl, and some of her old dance costumes are still in her closet... including a really cool Christmas tree. It has satin ball ornaments and little bells on it. My brother has decided its his duty to protect Momma by removing each ornament and bell from the costume. He doesn't understand that Momma WANTS them to stay there. I just hope he doesn't find the tinsel!!!

12. Rossetti luvs snuggling with Grandmama on her bed. Anytime she's on it, he jumps up there and makes biscuits on her tummy. He also luvs to watch NCIS and CSI with her. I do too, but I like to be closer to the picture box, so I lay at Grandmama's feets.

13. As many kiatons know, I was named after the character, Kirara, on the anime show, Inuyasha. My brother, Rossetti, was named after one of Momma's favorite artists, Dante Gabriel Rossetti. He is most famous for his literature works, but he paints fairly well too. I think Momma likes him because she first saw an art show with his works when she went to the Netherlands to study art the summer after we adopted her. That was where she got to know our Auntie Kimmie!!!! They protected each other from cars and evil bicycles and something called "Auntie Kimmie's room mate." Oh, and Auntie Kimmie taught our Momma how to ride on air planes!!! Auntie Kimmie is very smart.

It Snowed Yesterday!!!!!!!!!

Last night, an amazing thing happened.... IT SNOWED!!!!! We live north of Dallas in Texas so this is something that rarely occurs. We've only really seen snow two or three times in our lives. Of course, we're only four so thats not too bad...

Here is the snow still falling in the dark as taken by Momma from our front door.

This morning, Rossetti ran to the front door and refused to move until Grandmama let us out to play in the snow. It wasn't quite as fun to play in now that we're grown kiatons, but we still chased each other around the yard a bit.

Here's our back yard... even our picnic table was covered in snow!!!!! Sorry Momma didn't get any photos of us outside, but she was getting the snow off her machine so she could day hunt while Grandmama let us out to play!!!!!

Howdy from Texas ya'll!!!! Iz been goin nuts not ceeinz ya!!!!!

Seems like furrever sence I wuz able to visitate everykiaton on da bloggies.... Kirara and I hav been verry buze takin care of our Momma. Shez had da couffses fur everz and we had a bigg scairty last Friday that had da wholz vulunteerz fure deepartments out to make surez she wuz okays. ( She thought her heartz wuz brokened, but it wuz okays after allz) It surz scairt her and our Grand-Beans and uz too. We haz been stayin close by her and purrin and purrin. So did our cousinz, Queen Snickers and Empress, when our Momma went to visitate them this weekend. Please purr for our Momma so she'll keep feelin better and not freakz herselfz out and make uz think her heart iz broked...

Greetings everykiaton!!!! We decided to have a wordy Wednesday today so we could catch up with everyone. Sorry we haven't been blogging lately, but Momma has been busy day and night hunting since Valentine's Day and then she got sick this weekend. She's doing better today, so she let us go visitating today!!!! She did tell us that the other day when she was night hunting at the Depot, she heard the song Daisy sang to Skeezy , and it made her smile a lot!!!

Also, I won Skeezy's Valentine's Day Contest for Best Purrsunuls Ad!! It was very fun, and I luved all the other valentines. And, I do believe that I have found my mostly White Knight... I just have to get the courage to tell him!!! Wish me luck...

Thanks to everykiaton who has stopped by to visitate us while we've been stuck at the house. We hope to be able to make the rounds more often now that Momma is on the mend.

I had fun watchin da Sooper Bowl wif Kirara yezterdaz. Here I am glarzin at her afterz she refuzed to stop cheerin for da Cowboyz whin the first qarter started.

She wuz gud until afterz the half time show and then she triez to cheerz sum moor, but I convinzed her it wuz a bad idea. (Momma wuz busy playin the WoW so she couldn't play the refereeee)

I wuz verra sad that the Patriots didn't wen cuz Kaze, Miss Peach, and Millie were playing for their team this year. Momo and Lucy cheered so hard for them too!! (Kirara did cheer for them as well and I let her cuz it twas a good cause)

After the xcittin game, we had to take a kiaton-nap cuz we werz too tired to even watch momma whilz she wuz still playin da WoW (we're both proud cuz her iz now a lvl 54 hunter, whichz good in da world of da WoW)

I decided to dress up like a cheerleader, so I could practice my cheers before the Super Bowl. I have pom poms and a megaphone to match my uniform.

I think I will cheer for the Cowboys even though they won't be playing because that will annoy Rossetti. That will show him!! I think I will just do it for the pre game show though.... that way we can watch the half time show together!!!!

I knoe I haven't posted much. Kirara is better at the spellzing of the wordz. But todayz I wanted to say hi and tellz everykiaton what she did last nite. I wuz bein good and watchin the big box when she decided she wanted to watch one treez hillz and tried to STEELZ the Remoat!!!!

She finally wun by cheetin and boxin my ears til I had to gives up and let her watch HER show. And the saddest part wuz hers was RECORDED on the VZR!!! sometimes sizters just don't fight fair! Momma had to nite hunt verry late too, so she couldn't make Kirara mind and sharez.

Guess next week I'll have to ask Granmama bean to rekordz my showz too.

1. Our blog is new!!! We just got our momma to get us one (with help from cousins, Queen Snickers and Empress, and a little nudge from their momma, our Auntie Kimmie) This is our second whole week and we are still excited to be here meeting new friends!!!!

2. We both discovered catnip this past weekend!!!!! Our momma had given us nip bubbles right after we adopted her, but they weren't something we liked so she thought we hated all nip.... Thankfully our Granmama Bean bought us some nip filled candies left over from Chrissmiss from the store. And we LOVE them!!!!! Rossetti might even like them better than his mices.... maybe

3. We made momma stay home last night so we could watch her play her online game, WoW. All kitties should make their beans play WoW because its very fun to watch!!! Rossetti and I would both play if we could learn to use the keys AND the mouse at the same time. (plus Rossetti always tries to steal the computer mouse. it never works though)

Thanks for all the warm welcomes we received after our first post!!! We can't wait to continue getting to know our new friends! We shall bug our momma until she lets us visitate everyone. (only a little though because she has to day AND night hunt right now)

I wanted to answer a few of the questions we got yesterday from our new friends:

Rossetti and I live in Texas, an hour car ride from Dallas. I guess that makes us cow- kiatons.

Kavan asked what my name means. Kirara, is Japanese and is made up of the Japanese characters for "cloud" (雲) and "mother," (母). It comes from momma's favorite anime show, Inuyasha!!! The character, Kirara, is a cat demon. I am not a demon.... I am a purrfect angel (well most of the time). I think the reason momma named me after a cat demon is that she is very cute and fluffy like ME!!!!

Our First Post

We have finally convinced our momma to help us start our very own blog!!!!! (Our royal cousins, Queen Snickers and Empress helped) I am Kirara (pronouned Ke la-la) and my littermate brother is named Rossetti. We are very excited to be blogging now and hope to make many new friends!!!
